The Yorktown 39 has a forward V-berth cabin with a newer jabsco manual head in the head compartment to port, to the aft is the main salon with a large dinette, and a settee berth as well. There is a Dickens Newport diesel heater in the salon and well-outfitted galley to port of the companionway with a Force 10 LPG three burner stove/oven, a double sink and a larger Tundra refrigerator with a freezer. The engine is on the center line of the vessel inside a large insulated engine box that provides a lot of nice countertop space for preparing meals.

This Yorktown 39 Masthead Sloop is powered by a single Yanmar Model 3HMF three cylinder, fresh water cooled, naturally aspirated diesel engine coupled to a 1" stainless alloy propeller shaft, a PSS drip-less shaft seal and a three blade fixed bronze 15" RH 11" propeller.
The Yanmar engine was rebuilt in 2010 with 2000 hours on it at the time, since that rebuild the engine has acquired an addition 1291 hours for a total of 3291 hours on the vessel.

She is equipped with a sturdy 5m Mainsail that replaced the original in 2006. She also has a 125% Genoa on furler, Asymmetrical Cruising Spinnaker with a Profurl Rolling Furler system. The Yorktown is equipped with Barient #28+ primary and Lewmar #30ST halyard winches.
Rigging was replaced in 2006 with larger heavy duty 1x19 rigging & then dropped again, inspected and upgraded with new fore and back stays in 2014.

This Yorktown 39 Masthead Sloop is a production-built hand-laid fiberglass sloop rigged sailboat designed and built for safe and comfortable cruising in protected waters, coastal waters, and offshore sailing. Her hull has a cutaway forefoot, long fin keel, and a skeg hung rudder.
She has a plastic fuel tank, two poly water tanks, and a plastic storage tank for sanitation holding as well.
