Vessels history. "Mambo is a comfortable live aboard boat, ready to jump on and cruise the world. She sails fast and is easy to handle. We, (my wife and I) bought Mambo, as second owner in 2010 in Florida. From there we sailed her via the Bahamas and the Windward Passage across the Caribbean Sea to Columbia. Further, via Panama, the Galapagos, Marquesas, Society Iles (Tahiti... ) where we stayed for a while. Further we continued via Aitutaki, Palmeston, and Niue to Fiji. We averaged about 170 NM per day with some days over 200 NM. She is equipped with mast steps to the mast top, for single hand sailing. In Fiji we replaced the Bimini Top over the Cockpit with a rigid hardtop, it survived Cyclone Winston, (completely undamaged), where we experienced winds over 100KN. The hardtop has given us an extra living space as it can be closed on three sides, which enables us to sit out in any weather. Fiji became our base and from here we explored the Fiji Islands and Vanuatu. Mambo has been our home for over 9 years. We are very sad to part with her, but health issues have made the decision for us. She comes with all you need for a big long cruise (even round the world). All spare parts, linen, hammocks, towels, pots and pans, tools, paint and glass fiber, filters, fishing gear, sail repair tools, fenders, ropes, and more will be left on the boat. The boat is ready to go."
